2023 წლის 29-30 სექტემბერი – ჟან მონეს კონფერენცია

ბათუმის შოთა რუსთაველის სახელმწიფო უნივერსიტეტში ჟან მონეს საერთაშორისო კონფერენცია „დემოკრატია, კანონის უზენაესობა და ადამიანის უფლებების დაცვა ევროკავშირში“ გაიმართა. საერთაშორისო კონფერენცია ჩატარდა ბსუ-ში ევროკავშირის მიერ დაფინანსებული ჟან მონეს კათედრის პროექტის „ევროპის კავშირის ძირითადი ღირებულებები: დემოკრატია, კანონის უზენაესობა და ადამიანის უფლებების დაცვა” ფარგლებში და მიზნად ისახავდა ევროკავშირის ღირებულებების პოპულარიზაციას, ევროკავშირის შესახებ კვლევებისა და სწავლების განვითარების ხელშეწყობის გზით.

31 ივლისი 2023 – კავკასიის უნივერსიტეტის სტუდენტები ბსუ-ს ჟან მონეს კათედრის საზაფხულო სკოლაში

25-28 ივლისს, ბათუმის შოთა რუსთაველის სახელმწიფო უნივერსიტეტის ჟან მონეს კათედრის საზაფხულო სკოლის „კონსტიტუციური დემოკრატია ევროკავშირში: თანამედროვე გამოწვევები და საქართველო“ მუშაობაში, მონაწილეობა მიიღეს კავკასიის უნივერსიტეტის ჰუმანიტარულ და სოციალურ მეცნიერებათა სკოლის ევროპისმცოდნეობის საბაკალავრო საგანმანათლებლო პროგრამის სტუდენტებმა – ელენე გუდაძემ და ჯაბა ჯამასპიშვილმა. საზაფხულო სკოლის მონაწილეებს ჰქონდათ შესაძლებლობა გაცნობოდნენ ევროკავშირის ღირებულებებს, ევროპის კავშირის ინსტიტუტებს, კონსტიტუციური დემოკრატიის ძირითად გამოწვევებს, ასევე აემაღლებინათ ცოდნა საქართველოს ევროპული ინტეგრაციის სამართლებრივი ასპექტების შესახებ. სტუდენტები ჩაერთვნენ ლექცია-სემინარებსა და დისკუსიებში, სტუმრობდნენ საქართველოს საკონსტიტუციო სასამართლოს, მოინახულეს პეტრას ციხე. 25 ივლისი 2023 – ვიზიტი საკონსტიტუციო სასამართლოში

საზაფხულო სკოლა „კონსტიტუციური დემოკრატია ევროკავშირში: თანამედროვე გამოწვევები და საქართველო“-ს სტუდენტები საქართველოს საკონსტიტუციო სასამართლოს სტუმრობდნენ. ვიზიტის ფარგლებში ჟან მონეს კათედრის ხელძღვანელმა მალხაზ ნაკაშიძემ სტუდენტებს საკონსტიტუციო სასამართლოს სტრუქტურა, უფლებამოსილებები და მუშაობის თავისებურებები გააცნო.

Summer School: “Constitutional Democracy in the European Union: Modern Challenges and Georgia” students visited the Constitutional Court of Georgia. Within the framework of the visit, the Jean Monnet Chair, Malkhaz Nakashidze introduced the structure, powers and features of work of the Constitutional Court to the students.

25 ივლისი 2023 – საზაფხულო სკოლის გახსნა

ბათუმის შოთა რუსთაველის სახელმწიფო უნივერსიტეტში ჟან მონეს საზაფხულო სკოლა „კონსტიტუციური დემოკრატია ევროპის კავშირში: თანამედროვე გამოწვევები და საქართველო“ გაიხსნა. საზაფხულო სკოლაში საქართველოს სხვადასხვა უნივერსიტეტის სამართლის, საერთაშორისო ურთიერთობების, ევროპისმცოდნეობის და საჯარო მმართველობის სპეციალობის 30 სტუდენტი მონაწილეობს.

The Jean Monnet Summer School “Constitutional Democracy in the European Union: Modern Challenges and Georgia” was opened at Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University. 30 students of law, international relations, European studies and public administration bachelor programs from different universities of Georgia are participating in the summer school. 2023 წლის 19 ივლისი – სტუმრად აჭარის რადიოში

ბსუ-ს ჟან მონეს კათედრის ხელმძღვანელმა მალხაზ ნაკაშიძემ აჭარის რადიოსთან უნივერსიტეტში 2020-2023 წლებში განხორციელებული ჟან მონეს პროგრამის საქმიანობა შეაჯამა და 2023 წლის საზაფხულო სკოლის, ასევე სამომავლო გეგმების შესახებ ისაუბრა.

საზაფხულო სკოლა 2023 წლის 25-28 ივლისს ბათუმის შოთა რუსთაველის სახელმწიფო უნივერსიტეტში გაიმართება. საზაფხულო სკოლაში მონაწილეობენ საქართველოს უნივერსიტეტების იურიდიული, საერთაშორისო ურთიერთობების, ევროპისმცოდნეობის, საჯარო მმართველობის სპეციალობის (ბაკლავრიატის, მაგისტრატურის) სტუდენტები.

21 ივლისი 2023 – ახალი ჟან მონეს მოდული

ბათუმის შოთა რუსთაველის სახელმწიფო უნივერსიტეტი Erasmus + Jean Monnet პროგრამის გამარჯვებულია. ბსუ-ს სახელით საერთაშორისო კონკურსზე პროექტი – ჟან მონეს მოდული „ევროკავშირში გაწევრიანების პოლიტიკური კრიტერიუმები და საქართველოს, მოლდოვასა და უკრაინის ევროპეიზაცია” იურიდიული და სოციალურ მეცნიერებათა ფაკულტეტის პროფესორმა მალხაზ ნაკაშიძემ წარადგინა.

Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University is the winner of the Erasmus + Jean Monnet program. On behalf of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, Malkhaz Nakashidze, professor of the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences submitted the project of the Jean Monnet module “Political criteria for joining the European Union and the Europeanization of Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine” at the international competition.

წერილში პროფესორ-მასწავლებელები ევროკავშირს თხოვდნენ საქართველოსთვის ევროკავშირის წევრობის კანდიდატის სტატუსის მინიჭებას. წერილის ერთ-ერთი ინიციატორი და ბათუმის შოთა რუსთაველის სახელმწიფო უნივერსიტეტიდან ხელმომწერია ჟან მონეს კათედრის ხელმძღვანელი, პროფესორი მალხაზ ნაკაშიძე.

2023 წლის 10 ივლისს, გაგზავნილი წერილის პასუხად, პროფესორ-მასწავლებლებმა ევროკომისიისგან მიიღეს წერილი, რომელსაც ქვემოთ გთავაზობთ.

On May 8, 2023, an open letter was sent to the President of the European Parliament, Madam Roberta Metsola, the President of the European Council, Mr. Charles Michel, and the President of the European Commission, Madam Ursula von der Leyen, signed by the lecturers of the higher educational institutions of Georgia (Open letter can be seen here: https://tinyurl.com/zhmtdd7c )

In the letter, professors asked the European Union to grant Georgia the status of a candidate for EU membership. One of the initiators and signatories of the letter is Malkhaz Nakashidze, professor of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, Jean Monnet Chair.

On July 10, 2023, in response to the letter sent, the professors received a response letter from the European Commission, which is presented below.

6 ივლისი 2023 – სტუმარი კათედრაზე

ბათუმის შოთა რუსთაველის სახელმწიფო უნივერსიტეტის ჟან მონეს კათედრას სარაგოსას უნივერსიტეტის (ესპანეთი), ასისტენტ პროფესორი, სამართლის დოქტორი დევიდ რუანო დელგადო ეწვია.

დევიდ რუანო დელგადო ამჟამად დაინტერესებულია ევროკომისიის მიერ საქართველოს მიმართ წარდგენილი 12 რეკომენდაციის შესრულების საკითხის კვლევით. დოქტორი დელგადო ვიზიტის ფარგლებში გაეცნო ბსუ-ს ჟან მონეს კათედრის საქმიანობას, შეხვდა ჟან მონეს კათედრის ხელმძღვანელს მალხაზ ნაკაშიძეს და განიხილეს მომავალი თანამშრომლობის შესაძლებლობები.

David Ruano Delgado, PhD, Assistant Professor, University of Zaragoza (Spain), visited Jean Monnet Chair of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University.

David Ruano Delgado is currently interested in researching the implementation of the 12 recommendations presented by the European Commission to Georgia. During the visit, Dr. Delgado was interested in the activities of the Jean Monnet Chair of BSU, met with the Jean Monnet Chair, Malkhaz Nakashidze, and discussed the possibilities of future cooperation.

2023 წლის 25 ივნისი – კონფერენციაში მონაწილეობა

ჟან მონეს კათედრის ხელმძღვანელმა მალხაზ ნაკაშიძემ მონაწილეობა მიიღო საჯარო სამართლის საერთაშორისო საზოგადოების – ICON•S საქართველოს პირველი ყოველწლიური კონფერენციაში “თანამედროვე საჯარო სამართლის გამოწვევები”.

მალხაზ ნაკაშიძემ კონფერენციის პანელურ სესიაზე “ევროკავშირი, ევროინტეგრაცია და საერთაშორისო უსაფრთხოება” წარადგინა მოხსენება “უკრაინა, მოლდოვა, საქართველო: ევროკომისიის რეკომენდაციების შესრულება და ევროინტეგრაციის პერსპექტივები”.

პანელურ სესიაში მონაწილეობდნენ ბათუმის შოთა რუსთაველის სახელმწიფო უნივერსიტეტის, ნიუ ვიჟენ უნივერსიტეტის, მიკოლას რომერის უნივერსიტეტის, სხვა უნივერსიტეტების პროფესორები, დოქტორანტები და სხვადასხვა სასწავლო პროგრამის სტუდენტები.

On June 25, 2023, Jean Monnet Chair Malkhaz Nakashidze, participated in the first annual conference of the International Society of Public Law – ICON•S Georgia “Challenges of Modern Public Law”.

Malkhaz Nakashidze presented the paper “Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia: implementation of European Commission recommendations and perspectives of European integration” at the panel session of the conference “European Union, European integration and international security”.

The panel session was attended by professors, PhD students and students of various study programs of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, New Vision University, Mikolas Romer University and other universities.

2023 წლის 12 ივნისი – საჯარო ლექცია საჯარო სკოლაში

ბსუ-ს ჟან მონეს კათედრის ხელმძღვანელმა მალხაზ ნაკაშიძემ საჯარო ლექცია ჩაატარა ქალაქ ბათუმის მე-8 საჯარო სკოლაში თემაზე “ევროკავშირის ძირითადი ღირებულებები, მიზნები და საქართველოს ევროპული ინტეგრაცია”. ღონისძიებას ესწრებოდნენ საჯარო სკოლის სხვადასხვა კლასის მოსწავლეები და სკოლის პედაგოგები. საჯარო ლექციის დასასრულს მალხაზ ნაკაშიძემ უპასუხა მოსწავლეების შეკიხვებს და გაიმართა დისკუსია.

On June 12, 2023, Jean Monnet Chair Malkhaz Nakashidze delivered a public lecture at the 8th public school of Batumi on the topic “The main values, goals of the European Union and European integration of Georgia”. Students of different classes and teachers of public school attended the event. At the end of the public lecture, Malkhaz Nakashidze answered the students’ questions and a discussion was held.

2023 წლის 7 ივნისი – სტუდენტთა სემინარი

ბსუ-ს იურიდიული და სოციალურ მეცნიერებათა ფაკულტეტის სამართლის საბაკალავრო პროგრამის ფარგლებში, ჟან მონეს სასწავლო კურსის “ევროკავშირის საკონსტიტუციო სამართალი” სტუდენტებთან შემაჯამებელი სემინარი ჩატარდა, სადაც სტუდენტებმა ჯგუფური პრეზენტაციები წარმოადგინეს. სასწავლო კურსის განხორციელებაში ერთი სემესტრის განმავლობაში ჩართული იყო სამართლის საბაკალავრო პროგრამის 43 სტუდენტი. “ევროკავშირის საკონსტიტუციო სამართალი” ბსუ-ში „ერაზმუს+“ ჟან მონეს პროგრამის ფარგლებში ევროკავშირის მხარდაჭერით მესამე წელია ხორციელდება.

Within the framework of the undergraduate law program of the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, the final seminar was held with the students of Jean Monet’s study course “Constitutional Law of the European Union”. 43 Students delivered group presentations.

2023 წლის 9 მაისი – ვიზიტი ვილნიუსში

ლიეტუვაში კვლევითი ვიზიტის ფარგლებში, ჟან მონეს კათედრის ხელმზძღვანელმა მალხაზ ნაკაშიძემ მონაწილეობა მიიღო ქ. ვილნიუსში გამართულ ევროპის დღისადმი მიძღვნილ ღონისძიებებში, რომელიც ორგანიზებული იყო ვილნიუსის ადგილობრივი თვითმმართველობისა და ლიეტუვაში სხვადასხვა ქვეყნის დიპლომატიური მისიების, მათ შორის საქართველოს საელჩოს მონაწილეობით.

On May 9, 2023, within the framework of a research visit to Lithuania, Jean Monnet Chair Malkhaz Nakashidze participated in the events dedicated to the Europe Day held in Vilnius, organized by the local self-government of Vilnius and with the participation of of diplomatic missions of various countries in Lithuania, including the Embassy of Georgia.

March 8, 2023 – Students Protest

Students of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University held a protest rally “No Russian Law”. Graduates of the Jean Monnet Chair, the Jean Monnet Chair Malkhaz Nakashize, as well as some university professors participated in the protest. The participants of the rally protested the so-called Bills on “agents of foreign influence” which, in their opinion, pose a threat to European integration and the country’s European future.

On February 22, 2023, Jean Monnet Chair Malkhaz Nakashidze, took part in the program of Adjara TV, and spoke about the consequences of the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the support for Ukraine.

On February 17, 2023, Jean Monnet Chair Malkhaz Nakashidze, participated in the conference on the “Russian aggression against Ukraine – A Year of Resilience”, organized by the Eastern European Center for Multiparty Democracy (EECMD). Link

2023 წლის 27 იანვარს ბათუმის შოთა რუსთაველის სახელმწიფო უნივერსიტეტში ყოველწლიური ჟან მონეს სტუდენტური კონფერენცია: „დემოკრატია, კანონის უზენაესობა და ადამიანის უფლებების დაცვა ევროკავშირში“ გაიმართა. კონფერენციაში ბათუმის შოთა რუსთაველის სახელმწიფო უნივერსიტეტის, ივანე ჯავახიშვილის თბილსიის სახელმწიფო უნივერსიტეტის, ასევე უკრაინის, სუმის მაკარენკოს სახელობის სახელმწიფო პედაგოგიური უნივერსიტეტის 70-მდე სტუდენტი მონაწილეობდა.

On January 27, 2023, the annual Jean Monnet Student Conference: “Democracy, Rule of Law and Protection of Human Rights in the European Union” was held at Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University. About 70 students of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, and Sumy A.S. Makarenko State Pedagogical University of Ukraine participated in the conference.

2023 წლის 26 იანვარს ჟან მონეს კათედრის ხელმძღვანელი მალხაზ ნაკაშიძე უკრაინის სუმის სახელმწიფო პედაგოგიური უნივერსიტეტის საერთაშორისო ურთიერთობების სპეციალობის სტუდენტებს შეხვდა. კათედრის ხელმძღვანელმა და სტუდენტებმა შეხვედრისას უკრაინის, საქართველოს წინააღმდეგ რუსეთის სამხედრო აგრესიის და ოკუპაციის, საქართველოს და უკრაინის ევროკავშირში ინტეგრაციის და ორივე ქვეყნის წინაშე არსებულ გამოწვევების შესახებ ისაუბრეს.

On January 26, 2023, Malkhaz Nakashidze, the Jean Monnet Chair, met with the international relations students of Sumy State Pedagogical University of Ukraine. During the meeting, the Jean Monnet Chair and the students talked about Russia’s military aggression and occupation against Ukraine, Georgia, the integration of Georgia and Ukraine into the European Union, and the challenges facing both countries. September 21, 2022 – Visit to the Supreme Council of the Aurtonomous Republic of Adjara

Chairman of the Supreme Council of Adjara, Davit Gabaidze, met with the participants of the Jean Monnet Summer School – “Constitutional Democracy in the European Union: Modern Challenges adn Georgoa”. Within the framework of the summer school program, the chairman of the legislative body introduced the activities of the Supreme Council of Ajara, the main principles, structure and specifics of law-making to the young people. Davit Gabaidze also spoke about constitutional law issues and answered students’ questions. The meeting was attended by Professor of the Batumi State University, Jean Monnet Chair Malkhaz Nakashidze, Head of Law and Public Administration Department, Associate Professor, Omar Phartenadze.

Summer School “Constitutional Democracy in the European Union: Modern Challenges and Georgia” was opened at the Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University. The summer school will last for four days and will be attended by 50 students of Law, International Relations, European Studies and Public Administration from different universities of Georgia. On October 16, 2020 the Jean Monnet Chair has officially started course “European Union Constitutional Law”. 37 students of the Bachelors of Law program were enrolled in the course. The course is 5 credits and will be taught for one semester. The purpose of the course is to teach the student European Constitutional Law, Constitutional history and Founding Principles of European Union, Governmental structure, Legislative powers, External powers, Executive powers, Judicial powers, European Federalism and Democracy and Union Citizenship.
